How long to get over a breakup?

My husband and I are no longer together. He left town about a month ago to go back home and work on his drug problem. I feel betrayed because I was loyal and waited for him while he was deployed to Iraq. He completely left me in shambles, not taking my feelings into considerations at all. As of 6 days ago we have officially ended it and I am filing divorce doents. How long does it take to get over this? I find myself obsessing about where he is and who he could be with (and I have NEVER been like that in my whole life.) I want to keep my dignity, I havent called or spoken to him. But it hurts that he hasnt tried to reach me at all. Is he suffering too? Ugh! This is so awful.
