Speeding fines?? what a load of b*ll*cks ?

Yes, I totally agree. If you committed a traffic offence, the penalty should be 3 points on your licence. Why do they fine you �60 ? It is simply a money making machine for this government. The motorway network in this country has become a complete and utter joke. There are far too many arbitrary 40,50,60 limits put on the motorway, which cause more accidents. The traffic does not run smoothly , but is forced to stop and start. Accidents are not caused by driving at speed, but by driving too close to the traffic flow or by driving recklessly.
