Severely overprotective dad. Effects?

My life has been very bleak, although I do greatly appreciate being alive,and being at school, the opportunity to see people my age and converse with friends. Yet, my dad doesn't see my way. I understand that he is protective to protect me from bad people, because my siblings threw their lives away when he was lenient with them. With me there's no leniency. I can't have friends. Period. He says that having friends leads to boys. Obviously he's been dragged into the stereotypical outlook on teens. Peer pressure. He thinks that having friends will only lead to , drugs and other things. The only friends I've had in my life that could physically be here with me and have fun with, were my niece and her sister. But her mom was having a dispute with my dad so I never see them anymore. I'm not allowed to talk to my friends over the Internet, I used to secretly, but he found out and he can somehow see whether I've been on Facebook or not. I don't get out at all. Except for groceries. I have to do the shopping since my mom left a month after my dad's stroke. So I have to take care of him, i.e get his food, pills, groceries, and laundry. And of course, I do the cleaning. I feel greatly underappreciated, because he often yells at me for minor mistakes. So basically I've only been out of the house for school, and I used to go out with my sister but she doesn't come around anymore because of my dad's dispute with her, and groceries. I'm wondering if anyone knows any effects this could have on me. I'm already borderline antisocial when it comes to family, I'm panicky, I'm hot tempered, I'm socially awkward and can't contribute much to a conversation, and I'm lazy. I also feel like I'm not ready for the world, for when I move out, since I've barely been out in the world and taught useful things, like managing money, etc. Thanks for reading. I appreciate it.

Cant swallow water properly help!!!!?

An hour ago I ate some enchilada and it got stuck in my throat. I could still breathe but if I tried drinking water Id just throw up. I induced vomiting maybe 7 times (only saliva came up, and small food particles, it was mostly just saliva) and now I feel ok, but I cant swallow water properly. I take a sip (because Im scared I might spew again) and the water goes down my throat slowly and then I heard a sound and feel strong pressure in my throat, then I feel ok again. Im uming the sound is the water ping by the food still in my throat. Im going to urgent care in the morning because I can still function comfortably, but WHY IS THIS HAPPENING! Should I try get a ton of water and forcing it down fast? Or just keep vomiting?

Is it okay to want to be white? Or is it weird?

I'm an 18 year old hispanic girl, and i hate it. My skin isn't very tan, it's pale, but I tend to blush a lot so I look kind of pinkish/red most of the time. Some people think I'm white, and don't know i also speak spanish. I'm just so tired of all this racism, I wish i could just be white. They have it so much easier, my life would be so much easier if i was white. My parents are mexican, and my dad can speak english, but my mom can't. In the past when we were out in public, they speak to me in spanish (like in a grocery store). And no, I am not illegal, I've been here since I was about a year old and I'm a permanent legal resident and soon I'll become a citizen. Oh, and I hate all those nasty stereotypes people have of hispanics- that we are sluts, lazy, temperamental, love to party and dance, have too many children, etc. I know a lot of hispanics (mostly mexicans) who are like that, but I'm not like that- I'm a virgin, I'm quiet, I can't dance to save my life, and I don't really want to have kids. I don't like the mexican guys that hit on me, but then again I'm a , so I don't like men, but i find white guys more attractive, and they've never shown any interest in me (well, with one exception). So what can I do to be whiter, whiten my skin? Change my last name? I'm just not proud of my ethnicity. Will a small Alpine V power be enough for my Kicker 12's?

I just bought some 12'' Kicker comps, 4 ohm, 150 watts RMS, 300 peak. Hey, does anyone else write books like Richard Adam's "Watership Down"? Or David Clement-Davies "Fire Bringer" or "The Sight"? Here's one that a lot of young people would know, "Warriors" by Erin Hunter. I found this genre isn't that widespread, but the few books I've read (these and more) are great, and so anthropomorphic novels are my favorite, so much so that I began writing my own. Actually, one of mine is about to be published, I can't wait! But I was just wondering if there's anyone else out there who writes these kinds of books. (And when I say animal novels, no offence to the Redwall lovers out there, but I don't mean the kind of books where if you replaced the mice with humans then it wouldn't make a difference, lol. weight watchers is not a good program to follow. you need to create life-changing eating habits on your own. when it comes to exercise, you burn more calories if you have the treadmill at a high incline rather than run on it. you need to do the stair stepper for longer than 6 minutes. also don't stop exercising when you're not at the gym. incorporate exercise in your every day life, use the stairs instead of elevator. go for a walk. be active, not only at the gym, but in every day life.

It seems to me like you are just comparing yourself to others too much. If you are in ballet then you are always around super skinny people. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but I will change your outlook on how you feel about yourself. I used to have the same problem feeling overweight when it was clear to everyone I wasn't but I just wasn't happy with my body. I asked my mom for advise, and she gave me a good tip to put a bag over my head, cut to eyes in the bag and just look at my body in a bikini or something. It really shows you the real you, because you have this mental image of yourself that goes around in your head, but i promise this works! If you still aren't satisfied with what you see try figuring out where your having problems and try to fix it with a healthier eating plan and exercise. That could always be good. (:

This has happened to me two times now. I go to grab a tissue, and get a bonus of a disgusting earwig -on- the tissue that I just took out of the tissue box! In this case, Dad is serving as a name. It's a personal noun. You could replace Dad with any other name like Dave, Tom, Henry, etc. My mom and our grandmother are not names in this case because of the personal "my" and "our." Ignore erin. She sounds like a horrible person. Rats are fantastic animals and so affectionate. They say that it is a sign of stress but also can it can be a sign of content. My 2 girls-olive and daisy-both do this, mainly when they're being stroked so I don't think you have anything to worry about. Why does the Photoshop CS4 PSD icon not show up?

I got Adobe Design Premium CS4 last Christmas and it installed perfectly fine to my 4 month old computer. All the programs doent files had an Icon to it except Photoshop's PSD's. I emailed Adobe with the problem and they said to reinstall it so I did that, nothing. Then I reinstalled the Creative Suite and still nothing. It really isn't a bother because I can just open the files directly from Bridge or drago the files onto the Photoshop shortcut. The only other version of Photoshop I was running is Photoshop Elements 5. It's just a quicker method to be able to double click directly on the PSD rather than my other methods. I right clicked and set the program that would open the PSD's to Photoshop but still nothing. I know this is a silly problem but it is kind of bugging me lol.

When I look at my qpsmtp log files, there is nothing indicating the status of the email. Communication between the two servers looks good, it just doesn't leave. I have not been able to find in the log file or trap when the email actually leaves. I some cases the email goes on the first try. In other cases the email sits in the que for hours or even a day before it leaves.

Error code 43 on display adapter in Windows 7 64 bit.?

I've been having a constant problem with my custom built PC. All started about 2 months ago I had been experiencing crashing and screen freezing issues. After much trouble I finally found a shorted wire on the bottom of my pc from a side fan molex power connector. Every time I would try to run both of my Nvidia 9800GX2 graphics cards I would not be able to run them in normal quad SLi setup I would only have the choice of running in Tri Sli. When I would go to Device manager one of the 4 display adapters would have an "!" and when you right clicked then properties the text box would say "Windows has stopped this device error 43". I would then fill out a RMA thru BFG and send the card in for repair. After getting the card back and reinstalling it would do the same thing, so I'd send it out again blah blah..after repeating these headaches for 4 card replacements BFG upgraded me to 2 Nvidia GTX 285's in trade for the 2 9800GX2's. Before I installed both together I thought maybe the shorted wire had messed up my power supply (1100W) so I decided to replace it before attempting to run both 285's in SLi. So I buy a new PSU a BFG ex-1200, and install everything and fire it up and...BLAM I only get one of the 285's working the other has the error code 43 and I can't enable dual GPU Sli. I noticed that it is only the card on the bottom PCIe16 slot (Slot 3). I have 3 PCI slots on my Mobo but when I try putting the cards in slots 1 and 2 my bios when I first turn on the PC tells me that I must move the card from slot 2 to slot 3 in order for SLi to work. So I can only use slots 1 and 3, so I move the good card from slot 1 and put it in slot 3 and the bad card from slot 3 and put it in slot 1. Fire it up and now the slot 1 card which windows just told me was bad error 43 is working fine and the previously ok card now in slot 3 has the error 43. So before I go any further I was wandering if anyone had any suggestions because all I can come up with is that maybe the shorted wire did more damage than I thought and the 3rd PCIe16 slot is bad so I gotta get a new motherboard. My specs: Mobo-EVGA Nvidia 790i Ultra, GPU's- 2 BFG Nvidia 285, PSU-BFG ex-1200, Ram- 4gb ddr3 pc1066 4x1gb, Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, Intel Q9770 quad core processor. All my drivers are up to date and bios up to date.

Okay, I am very new to all of the information on either side. I am from the US so I have been told it is best to do it for various different reasons. I have found conflicting opinions on the topic and outrageous claims on booths sides varying from uncircised men have extreme ual appetites to circised men are less likely to develop genital cancers and less likely to spread VD's, cervical cancer, and STD's. My opinion on it is that I think it is best to leave a boys intact unless complications occur that require circision until the child is old enough to decide which way he prefers to be, at that point I will fully support his decision. I understand that a child won't remember it if done at birth but I will, and it still will have been done and probably hurt just the same as if he was older. I also understand health organizations are against it being done automatically when born. I have also read that there are infections that can occur in an uncircised male when he is younger, how do I prevent this from happening? I figure I can tell the doctor to check his urine at every check up to ensure he doesn't have a UTI. My partner is circised and is in favor of it so we are having a bit of an issue here. Any advise? How would I teach him to clean his if he is not circised? How do I ensure he does not get an infection as an infant? Are there any creditable studies that show links between circision and cancers, diseases, infections, complications either way or is there no real correlation for either side just lifestyle choices? I am a very clean person so that will not be difficult I just need to know how to properly clean him. Thank you for all of your help.

As an introvert, I always umed it was the extrovert in a person to make me feel more comfortable. Someone who is willing and able to take captive a room full of people. Instead, I've found that as an introvert who needs the solitude, I am more attracted to such qualities in people. Those who need and do similar things draw a comfort to others as it shows a unity in humanity. Not that an extrovert is wrong by any stretch of the imagination, I just find myself in more tranquility when I'm not trying to blend or fit with one in the middle of the hustle and bustle of life.

i did back in 5th grade. my dad has bi polar and schitsophrenia for most of my life prior my dad was in and out of the mental hospital haveing mental episode after episode after literally trying every mental drug on the market at the time. he had gone to the state mental hospital 5 times but after his worst episode where he teared up the house to where EVERYTHING was on the floor every chair table and bed was flipped over and nothing was on the shelves and during all this i was outside in the car listening to him yelling and cussing and everything breaking and when my mom tried to call the police he got on her and tried to take away her phone and he through it on the ground and it shattered into a million pieces and he stomped back inside and continued to wreck the house so he got sent back to the state hospital and during that time my mom found another guy and she cheated on my dad and she was gonna divorce him for this new man! she didnt hardly pay attention to my lil sis and i it was all about her boyfriend who HAD A WIFE! i honestly thought i would never get my real dad back again and i was in a depression during the whole time my mom was cheating on my dad i would cry myself to sleep every night and nothing interested me but i managed to go to school and put on this fake smile and act. she had no idea how much pain i was in.....im about to cry just thinking about it but we finally found a medicine that worked for my dad to where he was sane and the man my mom was cheating with she found out was a man and had tons of other gf's but have you thought of suicide and if so why??????

Will my xbox 360 play in 1080p through a CMP cable?

I have an old xbox 360 from before they put hdmi outputs on the back so i only have a CMP cable. My current tv is only HD ready so the CMP plays 720p fine. Problem is i am buying a new Full HD TV and was wondering if the CMP cable will output the 1080p resolution from the xbox or not. Still getting bites on knees after fogging apartment. No bedbugs found. What is it?

For weeks now I have been waking up with small, red, itchy, fluid filled bites on both knees. With three cats, I decided it was best to flea bomb (fog) my apartment to kill any fleas, bugs or spiders, along with flea baths and topical treatment to the cats. I also washed my clothing and sheets in hot water. This didn't solve my problem. I went to the doctor, who couldn't distinguish what kind of bug bites they are. How to trim overgrown Juniper Shrubs?

I have 4 or 5 large rectangle Juniper shrubs in the front of my house lining the gr area, however, they are now overgrown to the point where they cover the sprinklers entirely. I would really like to take some hedge trimmers and trim them back but also don't want to be left with dead brown Junipers. Never had to deal with these plants before...there are also sections that almost look like they are "falling over". I also have Juniper trees that constantly have leaves falling over. Is orlando sanford airport good?

I used to fly into the Orlando Sanford airport, and I actually always really liked it. It's much smaller and quieter than MCO, and definitely easier to get around in. The only part about it that I don't like better than MCO is the fact that it's farther away from the main Orlando attractions (about a 45-60 minute drive, as opposed to 30 minutes or less from MCO). If you are planning a Disney World vacation and staying in a Disney World resort then you should pay the extra money for a flight to MCO because Disney will pick you up from that airport for free, but not from Orlando Sanford. If you choose to fly into MCO then I recommend Virgin Atlantic, I hear great things about that airline.

I have sonar 8.5 producer and there is a slight delay when I record onto a track from when I play to when I hear it. That isn't too big of a deal I just mute while recording, but when I record on a second track while in sync with track 1 it seems to be fine but in playback the second track lags a second after the first. What causes this delay?

Best suggestion I have is for you to rip back to where the garter stitch starts, and purl instead of knit. When you knit in the round, you are knitting in straight stitch, so I think your garter stitch is really reverse stockinette. Check the other side, is it smooth? If so, the best thing to do is to rip back to where that starts, and purl around instead of knit around.

MY suggestions as a Vet istant would be to make an appointment at your vet-- I have a feeling that with his age his urinary tract may have acalated crystals-- kinda like a human having kidney stones... If he checks out at the vet, with a thourough urine test, there are other things you can try-- put a tiny, tiny bit of pineapple juice in his water bowl- it doesn't hurt him at all, or the kitten, and might make going easier for him to handle. Another suggestion is an over the counter NO-Go spray. It puts a smell on the item or area sprayed that makes the cat or dog not want to go anywhere near it. One more useful tip-- stop at the local pet store- there are other things they can suggest that I probably forgot to mention..

Recently, I started reading Kathy Reichs's series and I really like them. (I want to be an archeologist so i'm very interested in this kinda stuff) but I was wondering if anyone knows of some other good books with more archeological plots. Fried Pal was an amazing artist, he was best known for his illustrations and his character studies but also for his "Time to time" Bender for nudes and westerns. the size you have is a standard size 24 x 30, it has shrunk over time. I cannot say how valuable it is bedcause he did so many paintings like that ( he did alot of paintings of dancers as well and actors and actresses ) Your paqinting is not a million dollar painting but I imagine it is a fairly vaulable piece and alot of collectors who know of him will often go after one of his nicer pieces. I have personally seen hundreds of his pieces and framed a bunch as well......I know three people who go out of their way to collect his work, if you like, you may contact me and I'll try and help you get in touch with some of them.

Alright, so Im wondering what kind of sniper/sharpshooter I should be? Im not positively sure but i think it is because it mixed with another liquid or mixture and when they come together the milk almost fades away as it mixes with the other liquid. You would be better off to do away with all animal products if you can. There is a lot of fat and hormones in dairy products too. You don't need milk and eggs. There is protein in nuts, seed, legumes and veges. Make sure you get vitamin C so you body can absorb the nutrients in you food you eat. If cows can live on gr, I'm sure we don't need to eat meat, fish, chicken, eggs or dairy. Other than that, your diet looks good.
