he probably has a cold. keep an eye for it and if it gets worse take him to the vet. you can also give him strawberries because they are natural antibiotics for rats and help with their immune system. Unfortunately, respitory problems are very common in rats and colds are very contageous. you can even give your rat a cold! you may want to quarantine the rat so you other rats do not get it.
