I would like to have amazing subs or stereo system in my room ?

I have a huge flatscreen tv an I play xbox 360 on it, I would to have like my radio or iPod playing music that sounds really good like subs, I want to a clear sound and I love subs, should I get like 2, 10inch car subs (like kicker) an put them in my room. and how would I make it work ?
